Biomass briquette making machine, also known as sawdust rod extruder, is special equipment to compress loose biomass raw materials into solid fuel rods without adding adhesives.

Raw Materials Available

It can process various waste biomass materials: wood sawdust, wood shavings, rice husk, straw, corn stalk, peanut shell, bamboo scraps and other agricultural & forestry residues.

Working Principle

After crushing and drying, raw materials enter the extruding chamber. Under high temperature and high pressure, the lignin inside biomass softens and acts as natural binder. Materials are extruded into solid cylindrical fuel rods with high density. The finished rods can be directly used as biomass fuel or further carbonized into charcoal sticks for barbecue.
