1. Fuel supply dependence: Biomass pellets aren't as widely available as gas or electricity, so some areas might face difficulties buying them or deal with price fluctuations.
2. Requires maintenance and cleaning: They're not completely maintenance-free. You still need to clean ash in the furnace and ash box, check for worn-out sealing strips, and low-quality pellets can cause coking and block the stove.
3. Electricity-dependent operation: The feeding system, fan, and control panel all need power, so they won't work properly during a blackout.
