Core Process Flow of the Pellet Machine Production Line
A complete pellet machine production line typically includes the following six main stages, each interconnected and working collaboratively:
1.Raw material pretreatment (slicing/crushing).
The raw materials need to be processed by chipper or pulverizer to a particle size of 3-5mm, which is convenient for subsequent molding. For example, logs need to be sliced and then crushed, while straw needs to be cut and removed from impurities.
2.Drying treatment
The moisture content of raw materials must be controlled between 10%-15%, too high will cause the particles to not form, and too low will be fragile. Drum hot air dryers are commonly used for dehydration, and some high-end production lines use the three-stage drying method to improve thermal efficiency by 28%.
3.Granulation molding (core link).
The pellet mill is the "heart" of the whole production line, and the mainstream are ring die pellet mill and flat die pellet mill:
The ring die machine is suitable for large-scale continuous production, with an output of up to 1-10 tons per hour, high particle density and smooth surface;
The flat mold machine is suitable for small and medium-sized or family workshops, with low investment and easy maintenance.
During the pelletizing process, the material undergoes physical denaturation under high pressure and high temperature, and can be formed without adding binders.
4.Cooling and screening
The temperature of the freshly produced pellets is as high as 70-90°C, and it needs to be cooled down to room temperature ±5°C by counterflow cooler to prevent agglomeration. Subsequently, it is graded by vibrating screen to separate qualified particles and powders to improve the yield.
5.Automatic packing
The finished particles are sent to the finished product silo through the bucket elevator, and the automatic packaging machine completes the weighing, bagging, and sealing, supporting 25kg sachet or ton bag packaging, which greatly reduces labor costs.
6.dust removal and environmental protection support
The whole line is equipped with cyclone dust collectors, bag dust removal systems and noise reduction devices to ensure compliance with the "Comprehensive Emission Standard for Air Pollutants" (GB 16297-1996) and meet the requirements of environmental assessment.
